Samsung Galaxy S8 Active complete specs sheet leak

A leak coming out of China, reveals key features and entire specs sheet of Samsung's upcoming rugged smartphone, Galaxy S8 Active. The latest leak comes few days after the device surfaced in live images.

According to the leak, the Galaxy S8 Active will have a durable and rugged design. Its rugged feature include sport IP68 rating for resisting water and dust, military grade case, making it shock proof and drop proof as well. It will also have a shatter resistant display making the device extremely durable. 

Most of the specs will be same as the regular Galaxy S8, except for the battery, which is a 4000mAh battery, with fast charging support. It will also be thicker and bulkier as well.

The Galaxy S8 Active will have 5.8-inch QHD Super AMOLED Infinity edge display with Gorilla Glass 5 protection, and powered by octa-core Snapdragon 835 Mobile Platform. It will come with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, with microSD card expansion support.

It will get 12MP dual-Pixel f/1.7 rear camera, and 8MP selfie camera at the front. Other specs include Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, fingerprint scanner, dedicated Bixby button, and Android Nougat.

The Galaxy S8 Active is expected to break cover in the coming weeks, and will be sold as US-only AT&T exclusives. It will be available in Meteor Grey and Titanium Gold colors.
