Lenovo K8 Note goes official with Helio X23 chip, dual-rear cameras
Lenovo is expanding its popular 'K Note' line up of phones with the launch of K8 Note in India. It sports splash resistant metal unibody design, rear mounted fingerprint scanner, and is Lenovo's first smartphone to boast dual-camera setup.
The Lenovo K8 Note features 5.5-inch Full HD Gorilla Glass display and is powered by deca-core MediaTek Helio X23 processor paired with MP4 GPU. It comes in two versions: 3GB RAM/32GB storage and 4GB RAM/64GB storage. It also gets dedicated slot for dual-SIMs and microSD card, instead of hybrid dual-SIM slots.
On the imaging front the K8 Note has dual cameras comprising of a 13MP sensor and a secondary 5MP sensor to capture depth information for bokeh effect. For selfies, theres 13MP f/2.0 front shooter. Both back and front cameras have dedicated LED flash.
Connectivity options include 4G LTE, VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS and 3.5mm audio jack. It runs stock Android 7.1.1 and is fueled by 4000mAh battery with Turbo Charging support. The device will come bundled with a 15W charger.
Other features include Theatermax technology, Dolby Atmos, and a dedicated hardware Music key to play/pause music or can be mapped to start camera, open app, turn on flash light and more.
The Lenovo K8 Note has also been priced aggressively at Rs. 12,999 for the 3GB RAM/32GB version, and Rs. 13,999 for the 4GB RAM/64GB storage. It will be available exclusively on Amazon India starting August 18 in Fine Gold and Venom Black colors.
Launch offers include a Rs. 900 discount on the Moto Sports Headphones, up to 80 percent off on Kindle ebooks (up to Rs. 300), and a Idea data offer - up to 64GB of 4G data from Idea with unlimited calls for 56 days at Rs. 343.
