LG Q8 with secondary screen, dual-cameras goes on sale starting with South Korea
Last month LG introduced the Q8, a smaller version of last year's flagship V20 with secondary ticker screen and dual-cameras, but did not reveal the pricing and availability details.
Now the South Korean company has announced that the LG Q8 will be go on sale in home market starting August 25 for 616,000 Koreon Won ($545 | Rs. 35,000) in Urban Titan and Sweet Pink. Global roll-out is expected to happen soon.
To recap the specs, the LG Q8 features 5.2-inch QHD display with Gorilla Glass 4 protection, and a secondary screen on top of it, at gives you quick access to notifications, contacts, shortcuts and lets you switch between apps easily.
It is equipped with Snapdragon 820 processor, 4GB RAM, 32GB expandable storage and 3000mAh battery. For photography, there's dual cameras (13MP f/1.8 78-degree + 8MP f/2.4 135-degree) for wide-angle photos and 4K recording and 5MP f/1.9 120-degree wide-angle selfie camera.
Other feature include IP68 water and dust resistance, rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, USB Type-C port, 3.5mm audio jack and Hi-Fi DAC. It boots Android Nougat.
