LG V30+ logo leaked, could launch alongside V30 on August 31
The LG V30 will be unveiled on August 31, and according to earlier rumors it will be accompanied by an upgraded version, the V30+. Now Evan Blass has shared an image of the phone's logo confirming the existence of V30+.
The V30+ is expected to offer minor improvement over V30 and pack Quad DAC chip. The audio was restricted to Asia in the G6, but this time it will be available globally. We can also expect the phone to come with more storage, and support for wireless charging.
Earlier LG did the same with G6. It launched an enhanced version of the flagship called G6+ with more storage, support for wireless charging and new color options. It appears that V30 is also getting the same treatment.
LG has already confirmed two features of the flagship V30. First, the V30 will sport a bezel-less design, same as LG G6, and feature 6-inch QHD+ OLED FullVision display with 18:9 aspect ratio and Gorilla Glass 5 protection. Moreover, the signature 'secondary ticker display' of the V series will be ditched due to the use of FullVision display.
Second, the dual-cameras will boast f1.6 aperture and Crystal Clear Glass Lens for improved low light performance. The cameras will be accompanied with features like laser detection AF, optical image stabilzation (OIS) and electronic image stabilization (EIS).
As for the other specs, the LG V30 will most likely have Snapdragon 835 chip, fingerprint scanner, 4GB RAM, IP68 water and dust resistance and run Android Nougat out of the box.
