LG V30 surfaces in official looking press render
The LG V30 will be announced on August 31 at IFA, and ahead of the unveiling, Evan Blass has shared the official looking press render of the device.
The render shows the V30 in silver color, and its design appears to be a mix of company's flagship LG G6 and Samsung's Galaxy S8. The V30 has LG G6's FullVision display on the front with minimal bezels on all four sides, while the rear has curved edges like Samsung's Galaxy S8. Also the render confirms that V30 will not have the second screen, found on its predecessors. Instead users have to access quick shortcuts via the Floating Bar which is built into the software.
The dual-camera is aligned horizontally, along with LED flash & laser auto-focus are located at the rear, so is the power button/fingerprint scanner combination. Even though the render don't show the top and
bottom of the phone, other leaks have shown the phone will feature 3.5mm headphone jack and USB Type-C port.
LG has already confirmed that the V30 will sports 6-inch QHD+ OLED FullVision display with 18:9 aspect ratio. The display will be protected by Gorilla Glass 5, and the phone will support HDR 10 and Google's Daydream VR platform. The dual-camera will boast f/1.6 aperture and glass lens, for improved low-light camera performance and deliver better color reproduction.
The LG V30 will ship with Android Nougat with UX 6.0+ on top, and is most likely to be equipped with Snapdragon 835 Mobile Platform and pack 4GB RAM. It will also boast IP68 water and dust resistance rating and an improved ESS quad DAC.
