MIUI 9 Beta Is Now Available For Second Batch Of Devices
Beta based builds of Xiaomi's customised Android skin MIUI 9 are now available for the second batch of devices. The second of batch of devices includes the Mi MIX, Mi Note 2, Mi 5/5s/5s Plus, Mi Max 2, Mi Max and Redmi 4/4X.
Xiaomi had released MIUI 9 beta builds for the first batch of devices (Mi 6 & Redmi Note 4/4X) two weeks ago. Apart from a large number of user interface changes done over MIUI 8, MIUI 9 includes new functionalities such as split screen mode for multitasking. MIUI 9 isn't a big update in terms of features but it certainly brings with it a fresh breath of air with its new user interface. MIUI 9 Global Beta 7.8.24 is now available for both the first as well as second batch of devices. The complete changelog for this week's MIUI 9 beta build is as follows.

The bootloader of your device must be unlocked for installing this beta build of MIUI 9. Detailed instructions for installing MIUI beta builds can be found here.
