Motorola Announces Moto G5S and G5S+
After many months of leaks, Lenovo has finally announced the Moto G5S and G5S+, the "S" standing for special edition. The new phones provide slight improvements over the Moto G5 and G5S+. On this topic, let's compare the specs of the old and their revised versions to see how much better the "S" edition actually is.
The G5S sports a 5.2 inch full-HD display. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 SoC clocked at 1.4 Ghz. It comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage expandable up to 128GB via microSD card. The main feature is the camera- a 16MP primary camera and a 8MP front-facing camera. The previous G5 has the same processor, same memory and same RAM so the most improvement is only seen in the camera department.
The G5S+ comes with a 5.5 inch full-HD display powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC with a clock speed of 2Ghz. It comes in two variants- 3/32 GB and 4/64GB. The internal storage can be further expanded to 128GB via microSD card. It comes with a dual camera at the rear (13MP+13MP) and a 8MP front camera. Once again, no improvement has been seen in the insides as the G5+ sees the same 625 SoC and similar RAM memory. Like the G5S, the major improvement is the camera.

Both the phones (G5S and G5S+) run Nougat out-of-the box. They both sport an aluminium unibody design and are fuelled by a 3000mAh battery. They both come with a 1080p LCD display, though the G5S+ is slightly larger than the G5S which is understood by the "plus" suffix. They will be available in the colours Lunar Gray and Blush Gold colours. In India, the prices for the G5S will be around 19,000 INR while the G5S+ is priced at around 22,700 INR. It is believed that they will be available by the end of this month.
