Moto X4 key specs and final design surface
The Moto X4 after appearing in real-life photo, has now surfaced in official looking press render. Moreover, the possible final specifications of the device has also been revealed. The Moto X4 will be an upper mid-range smartphone, and will be the latest addition to the Moto X line after a gap of two years.
According to the source, Moto X4 will have 5.2-inch Full HD display with Gorilla Glass protection, and equipped with Snapdragon 630 Mobile Platform backed by Adreno 508 GPU. It will arrive in two RAM/Storage variants: 3GB RAM/32GB storage for the Europe, North America and Latin America region, and 4GB RAM/64GB storage for the Asia-Pacific region including India.
In line with earlier leaks, the Moto X4 will have dual-camera setup at the back comprising of a 12MP sensor with dual autofocus, f/2.0 aperture and 1.4µm pixel size plus an 8MP ultra-wide sensor with f/2.2 aperture, 1.12µm pixel size and 120-degree field of view. The dual-cameras will have the ability to add depth of field effects, much like other dual-camera phone. The cameras will be accompanied by PDAF and dual-tone LED flash.
For selfies, there will be 16MP camera on the front and will be assisted by a LED flash, for ultra-low light selfies. The selfie camera will come with an Adpative Low Light mods, and will be capable of recording 4K video at 30fps or Full HD video at 60fps.
A 3000mAh battery will run the show, and will support Motorola's TurboCharging fast charging technology. It will run Android Nougat and come with features like Moto Actions, Moto Display and Moto Voice. It will also have a fingerprint scanner on the front.
Designwise, the Moto X4 will have a shiny glass back, and will be IP68 water and dust resistant and come in Super Black and Sterling Blue. It will measure 148.35 x 73.4 x 7.9mm and weighs 163g.
At the moment, it is not known when Motorola plans to unveil Moto X4, but given the regular leaks, it can be expected to be announced soon.
