New OnePlus 5 color variant coming on August 7

The OnePlus 5 comes in two color versions: Midnight Black and Slate Grey. Now the company is teasing the release of a new color option, and says it will arrive on August 7.

While OnePlus didn't reveal what this new color is, a recent TENAA listing indicates that it will be Mint Gold. Moreover, the new color version of OnePlus 5 is shown on a promo banner on Amazon India's OnePlus 5 product page as coming soon, and a look at the page's source code also reveals the color to be Gold.

The new Mint Gold color (most likely 4th in the image below) of OnePlus could be same as Soft Gold color of OnePlus 3T, and have white finish on the front instead of Black of the other two colors.

The OnePlus 5 Slate Grey color version (Rs. 32,999) comes with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage, while the Midnight Black variant (Rs. 37,999) packs 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. However, it is not known what RAM and storage the new color version will offer.

As for the other specs, the OnePlus 5 features 5.5-inch Full HD display, Snapdragon 835 Mobile Platform, 16MP + 20MP dual rear cameras, 16MP front shooter, fingerprint scanner and 3300mAh battery.
