Nokia 6 now available in India

The Nokia 6 is finally available for purchase in India. The phone went on sale in India earlier today, exclusively on Amazon India and only those who registered for the sale were eligible to buy it. However, if you have missed the first sale, you can register for the next one which takes place on August 30.

The Nokia 6 was announced earlier this year alongside Nokia 3 and Nokia 5 in March. They were all launched in India in June, with Nokia 3 hitting the market first followed by Nokia 5.

The Nokia 6 leads the pack of the trio boasting better build quality and specifications. It sports a premium metal unibody design and comes in Matte Black, Tempered Blue and Copper colors. It runs Android Nougat out of the box, but the company has promised an upgrade to Android 8.0 Oreo when it is ready.

In terms of specifications, the Nokia 6 comes with 5.5-inch Full HD 2.5D curved glass display with Gorilla Glass 3 protection, octa-core Snapdragon 430 processor, 3GB RAM, 32GB of expandable storage, 16MP PDAF assisted rear camera, 8MP front camera, 4G VoLTE, dua-SIM support, fingerprint scanner and 3000mAh battery. It carries a price tag of Rs. 14,999.
