Honor Play 6 with 5-inch display, 3020mAh battey announced in China
Alongside the V9 Play, Huawei sub-brand Honor yesterday also introduced another budget smartphone called Honor Play 6 in China. It is basically a Chinese version of Y5 (2017), that was introduced earlier this year for Europe. It runs the now outdated Android Marshmallow based EMUI 4.1 software and supports dual-SIM and 4G VoLTE.
The Honor 6 Play features 5-inch HD display and is equipped with quad-core MediaTek MT6737T processor (w/ Mali T720 GPU), 2GB RAM, 16GB on-board storage (expandable via microSD card) and 3020mAh battery.
The camera department flaunts a 8MP f/2.0 rear camera with dual LED flash, and 5MP f/2.0 84-degree wide-angle selfie camera. It also supports WiFi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.0 for wireless connectivity.
Apart from power button and volume controls buttons (right side), the phone also has Easy Key button on the left side that gives you quick access to your favorite apps (camera, flashlight and more) by a simple press, double press and press-and-hold gesture system.
The Honor 6 Play has been priced at CNY 599 ($91 | Rs. 6,000), and is now available in China in White and Gold colors.
