Xiaomi India launches 32GB storage variant of Mi Max 2

The monster sized smartphone from Xiaomi, Mi Max 2 was launched in India earlier this year with 64GB internal storage and Rs. 16,999 price tag. Now the Chinese device maker is launching a new less priced variant of Mi Max 2 featuring 32GB internal storage.

The new 32GB Mi Max 2 has been priced at Rs. 14,999, but will be available at an offer price of Rs. 12,999, when it goes on sale on Amazon India and Mi.com on September 20. It comes in only Black color.

The rest of the specs remain same. The Mi Max 2 comes with 6.44-inch Full HD IPS display, Snapdragon 625 Mobile Platform, 12MP Sony IMX386 f/2.2 rear camera, 5MP 80-degree wide angle f/2.0 front camera, fingerprint scanner 4G VoLTE, USB Type-C port and 5300mah battery with Quick Charge 3.0. It runs MIUI based Android 7.1.1 Nougat.

Xiaomi is also expected to launch the bezel-less Mi MIX 2 in the country in the coming days.
