Aircel offers free 2GB cloud storage for its customers to back up contacts and data

Telecom operator Aircel has launched a new service called Mobile backup solution which enables its customers to backup contacts and other important data like messages, images, videos, audios and other files to the cloud and use it on multiple devices.

The cloud service is free of cost and users can backup up to 2GB storage space. Do note that data charges for taking backup and accessing the backup files will be applicable, and will be charged as per customer's existing data pack.

For enhanced safety and security of the data, the cloud service is integrated with Mobile Connect PIN based Authentication which provides multi-factor authentication.

The backup service is developed on Airel mobile app platform, and is currently available for Android devices. It will also roll out to iOS and Windows OS based devices soon.
