Amkette launches EVO TV 3 4K Android media streaming box for Rs. 7,999

Amkette has launched EVO TV 3 4K, it latest Android based media streaming box in India, that can transform a dumb TV into smart TV.  As the name suggests, the media player is capable of playing Ultra high definition 4K videos and has 7.1 surround sound. It runs a customized version of Android Marshmallow, so you will be able to access Play Store to download and install apps and games.

The Amkette EVO TV 3 4K comes with access to huge collection of TV and movie apps such as Hotstar, Amazon Prime Video, Netflix, Sony Liv, YuPP TV and more. It also allows you wirelessly stream you photos, videos and music from your smartphone, tablet or laptop to the TV using DLNA.

The media streaming box is powered by Quad Core processor paired with an ARM Mali 450 Penta Core GPU and packs 1GB RAM. It comes with 8GB internal storage, which can be further increased via microSD card and features 2 x USB 2.0 ports, an HDMI port, WiFi, Bluetooth and an Ethernet port.

Thanks to the inclusion of two USB 2.0 ports, you can plug hard disks, keyboards or even camera to the device. You can even connect the Evo gamepad via Bluetooth for playing games. The device also comes bundled with Air Remote that has easy navigation keys and one-click multimedia keys to browse apps, movies and TV shows.

The Amkette EVO TV 3 4K Android media streaming box has been priced at Rs 7,999, and will be available via online and offline stores in Black color.
