Android Oreo coming to Samsung devices in January 2018

According to Samsung Turkey, the company aims to deliver Android Oreo update for its phones in beginning of 2018.

To remind you, the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge started receiving Nougat in January 2018, so it appears that Samsung is following a similar time frame.

Unfortunately it is not known which Samsung smartphone and tablets will receive the upgrade first. Earlier reports have suggested that Oreo is already in works for Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+, so it is safe to assume that the Galaxy S8 along with the Galaxy Note 8, will be among the first to get Oreo, followed by last years' Galaxy S7.

As a reminder, Android Oreo brings new features like Picture-in-Picture (PiP), notification channels,.adaptive icons, circular dot, along with bug fixes, security improvement and
enhancements to improve the device's performance.
