Google Starts Advertising About The Pixel 2 Event In India

Ahead of the launch of the second generation Pixel devices on October 4, Google has begun advertising about the event in India. The image you see above is of an advertisement hoarding placed above a flyover in New Delhi. In case you are interested in checking out the ad yourself, you can find it above the flyover adjacent to the Rajouri Garden Metro Station.

Google started advertising about the launch event midway last month with a billboard in Boston. Unlike last year when the Pixel phones were heavily advertised before their launch, Google hasn't put much effort this time into turning heads towards the second generation Pixel phones.

Apart from advertisement hoardings, Google is also spreading word about it's event using its website's homepage. Google posted a video recently (the video embedded below this para) titled 'Funny you should ask...' The video showcases people attempting to find answers to questions like what's wrong with my phone's battery, why does my phone take so many blurry photos and many more. The video ends with the statement "Funny you should ask." as a response. Would Google have an answer to these funny questions? We will find on October 4.
