Latest Oreo Based OxygenOS Open Beta For OnePlus 3/3T Brings Several Improvements & Bug Fixes
OnePlus intends to upgrade the duo of OnePlus 3 and 3T to Oreo by the end of the year. In its aim to accomplish the set timeline, OnePlus kick-started Oreo based Open Beta builds for the two devices earlier this month. The first Oreo based Open Beta had several bugs such as problems in data connectivity, WiFi, NFC and Bluetooth. OnePlus has now released the second Android 8.0 based beta build for the OnePlus 3/3T.
The changelog for this build notes fixes to various reported bugs along with dozen of improvements. Here is the official list of changes in this update:

- User Feedback app is back
- You can continue sending bug reports via the app again
- Improved Wifi and Data connectivity
- Please let us know if you see a change in the behavior of your network connections
- Improved the performance of NFC
- Improved stability of Picture in Picture
- Apps that are supported by PiP are less likely to cause a reboot
- Reduced likelihood of device heating up in certain circumstances
- Fixed issue of missing voicemail tab in dialer
- Sorry about that..
- Other general bug fixes
- This includes things like the Notification dot issue, ambient display issues, random reboots, available storage calibration, and many other smaller issues.
OnePlus has mentioned that there might be performance issues with third party applications and fingerprint scanner. Both of these will continued to be addressed in the future Open Beta builds.
If you are interested in switching over to the Open Beta program, then you can download and flash the Open Beta builds linked below in the source. In case you are running an old Open Beta on your 3/3T, then you will be getting an update notification for this build soon.
