nubia Z17 miniS with 5.2-inch display, four cameras announced

Alongside the bezel-less Z17S, ZTE sub-brand nubia also announced a mini and affordable version of the flagship dubbed nubia Z17 miniS. It also boasts a premium design with 3D curved glass back panel , but has the regular top, bottom and side bezels, and comes with four cameras. There's also home button on the front, that houses the fingerprint scanner, and the device runs Android Nougat based nubia UI 5.0.

In terms of specifications, nubia Z17 miniS has 5.2-inch Full HD 2.5D curved glass display with Gorilla Glass 3 protection and is powered by Snapdragon 653 octa-core processor and 3200mAh battery. It packs 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage, but there is no microSD card slot.

The camera department is handled by dual 13MP cameras, one a monochrome sensor, and the other RGB sensor with f/2.2 aperture, OIS and 4K video recording. For selfies you get dual cameras as well, one a 16MP f/2.0 sensor with 80-degree wide angle lens and a secondary 5MP f/2.2 sensor.

Connectivity options are dual-SIM slot, 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, NFC, USB Type-C and 3.5mm audio jack.

The nubia Z17 miniS comes in Black Gold and Deep Blue colors, and is priced at CNY 1999 ($303 | Rs. 20,000). There's also a special Aegean Blue color model that will set you back by CNY 2099 ($318 | Rs. 21,000). The phone is now available for pre-order in China and will go on sale starting October 19
