OnePlus Is Now Rolling Out OxygenOS 4.5.1 To The OnePlus 3/3T With Bug Fixes & Stability Improvements
Following the heels of the first Oreo based OxygenOS Open Beta, OnePlus is now rolling out a stable update to the OnePlus 3 and 3T. OxygenOS 4.5.1 doesn't include any new features and is instead targeted at improving performance and stability.
The update changelog only mentions "general bug fixes and stability improvements." The OTA update package weighs 38MB and has the August 1 security patch, similar to what we saw in OxygenOS 4.5.0. It's worth noting here that the Blueborne vulnerability was patched by OnePlus in OOS 4.5.0.
As always, you will have to be patient for the update to reach you. This is because OTAs are usually rolled out in phases which means that only a few users would get the update on the first day, followed by a growing number of users on each following day until all the users have received the update. Users on OnePlus forums said that they got the OTA notification almost instantly after they changed their location to Canada in OperaVPN (this means that the OTA is currently being rolled out in Canada). You can try your luck with that or flash the update manually using the links given below.
