Vodafone announces Rs. 496 and Rs. 177 plans for new customers

After rolling out the affordable SuperWeek prepaid plan, Vodafone India has now announced new plans for customers joining Vodafone's SuperNet 4G network, that offers both data and voice calling benefits.

The new long-term Rs. 496 plan is a FRC (first recharge coupon), meaning it is only available exclusively for new Vodafone subscribers. The plan offers 1GB of 4G data per day for 84 days (total 84GB) along with with unlimited local and STD calls to any networks and national roaming.

There's also a short-term Rs. 177 FRC. It offer new subscribers unlimited local and STD voice calls to any network and 'only' 1GB data for 28 days.

Apart from new users the two FRCs are applicable for MNP (Mobile Number Portability) customers as well. Sadly the two new packs are currently available only for users in Delhi & NCR, and there's no word whether they will be available in other telecom circles.

As for the previously announced, SuperWeek Plan, it is priced at Rs. 69 and offers unlimited local and STD calls to any network plus 500MB data for seven days. This pack can be availed unlimited number of times, and is available across all retail outlets, USSD, Vodafone website and MyVodafone App.
