Xiaomi Mi 5X gets Red paint job
The mid-range dual-camera toting Xiaomi Mi 5X was released back in July in China in Black, Gold and Rose Gold colors. Now the China based device maker has announced a new special edition of Mi 5X.
The Mi 5X Special Edition comes in Red color, and costs the same as the regular Mi 5X at CNY 1499 ($222 | Rs. 14,000). It is now up for pre-order in China, and will go on sale starting November 1.
It's worth noting that, the Mi 5X gets red color at the back panel, while the front has black color. Otherwise it is same as the regular Mi 5X.
To recap the specs, the Mi 5X features 5.5-inch Full HD 2.5D curved glass display, octa-core Snapdragon 625 Mobile Platform, 4GB RAM, 64GB internal storage and 3080mAh battery.
For photography, it has 12MP dual cameras, one with f/2.2 aperture wide-angle lens and other with a f/2.6 aperture telephoto lens offering portrait mode and background blur assisted by dual-tone LED flash and PDAF. For selfies it gets 5MP front shooter.
Other features are metal body, hybrid dual-SIM slot (SIM+SIM or SIM+microSD card), 4G LTE, USB Type-C, WiFi 802.11ac, 3.5mm audio jack and fingerprint scanner. It runs Android Nougat based MIUI 8.
