Airtel's new Rs. 3,999 high data plan offers 360GB data, unlimited voice calls for 360 days

In the past couple of weeks, Airtel has been coming out with attractive offers for its existing and new customers, to take on Reliance Jio. Just yesterday it launched a new Rs. 448 prepaid plan that offered unlimited voice calls and 1GB data per day for 70 days.

Now the leading telecom operator has revised most of its popular tariff plan ranging from Rs. 199 to Rs. 799. In addition , it also introduced a long-term high-data plan of Rs. 3,999 that gives a benefits for one year.

Starting with the Rs. 3,999 plan comes with a validity of one year, and offers unlimited voice calls to all networks, 100SMS/day, and 300GB of 4G data. However, there's no daily FUP limit on the usage of the data, so it is up to the users, to consume the full data in just one day or use it across one year.

There's also new tariff plans of Rs. 799, Rs. 999 and Rs. 1,999. The benefits are mentioned below:

1. Rs. 799 tariff plan: unlimited voice calls including outgoing roaming calls, 100 SMS and 3.5GB data per day for 28 days
2. Rs. 999 tariff plan: unlimited voice calls including outgoing roaming calls, 100SMS and 60GB data without any FUP for three months
3. Rs. 1,999 tariff plan: unlimited voice calls including outgoing roaming calls, 100SMS and 125GB data without any FUP for 180 days.

The revised plans are mentioned below along with the new offerings:

1. Rs. 549 tariff plan: unlimited voice calls including outgoing roaming calls, 100 SMS, 2.5GB data per day (vs. 2GB data per day earlier) for 28 days
2. Rs. 349 tariff plan: unlimited voice calls including outgoing roaming calls, 100 SMS, 1.5GB data per day (vs. 1GB data per day earlier) for 28 days
3. STV Combo 199: Same benefits as FRC 181 (unlimited voice calls/1GB data, 100 SMS/day, 1GB data for 28 days), but is aimed towards existing Airtel customers.
4. FRC 181: Earlier this plan offered unlimited voice calls (local and STD) and 1GB 3G/4G data for 28 days. The revised plan comes bundled with 100 SMS per day as well. Note that this plan can be availed by new customers only
