OnePlus Confirms 5T Launch For November 16

Putting the rumors and speculation to rest, OnePlus has finally announced that it will take the wrap of its next flagship the OnePlus 5T at an event in New York on November 16. The event's tagline "a new view" highlights OnePlus 5T's near bezel-less display. The event will be live-streamed online for OnePlus fans around the world on that day at 1am ET which is 9:30pm India time.

Besides member of the media, OnePlus is also giving chance for fans to attend the event as well, given that they buy a $40 ticket. OnePlus says the proceeds from the tickets will go to charity, and the ticket owner will receive "swag worth up to $70".

As for India, OnePlus will be live-streaming the launch event in select PVR theaters across Delhi, Mumai, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Pune. You can book the ticket from BookMyShow.com at Rs. 99 starting November 8.

The company also revealed that the OnePlus 5 will be available for purchase in North America and Europe starting November 1, and China on December 1. In India, the phone will be up for grabs from Amazon India and OnePlus' online store via flash sale on November 21, while regular sales will begin on November 28.

Speaking of the OnePlus 5T, it will be an upgrade of OnePlus 5 with a design that looks more or less similar to Oppo R11, flaunting border-less display. It is expected to feature 6-inch Full HD+ Optic AMOLED 18:9 display, Snapdragon 835 processor, up to 8GB RAM, up to 128GB storage, 20MP dual rear cameras, 20MP front camera, rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and 3.5mm audio jack.
