Xposed Updated To v88.2, Includes Bug Fixes & Better Compatibility
Ever since Xposed framework was released for Nougat, rovo89 has been working hard on ironing out the remaining bugs. The second update for Xposed v88 is out now and it includes various fixes along with improved compatibility with different ROMs.
rovo89 claims that this update should fix bootloops on Samsung's stock ROMs (especially that of the Galaxy Note 8). There's also a potential fix for crashes on OnePlus devices when fully charged and better compatibility with Xiaomi's MIUI. Xposed framework for Lollipop and Marshmallow have also been updated to improve compatibility with MIUI.
rovo89 has urged Xposed users to install the latest version of the Xposed Installer. There were several reports of the error - "Xposed is installed, but not active" - and rovo89 says that one of the reasons for this error "could be that an old Xposed Installer is used." Another potential cause for this error can be that the Xposed Installer is installed on the external storage and not on the internal storage. The new Xposed Installer checks for this situation and will guide the user on how to fix it.
Magisk developer topjohnwu has also updated his Magisk installations to be in line with the latest release of the Xposed framework. You can find the requisite download links below.
