Airtel and Intex join hands to launch 4G enabled Aqua Lions N1, Aqua A4 & Aqua S3 phones starting at an effective price of Rs. 1649

After Karbonn and Celkon, the latest member to join Airtel's 'Mera Pehla 4G smartphone' program is Intex. The leading telecom operator has collaborated with Intex to launch three Android Nougat powered 4G enabled budget phone at an effective price of as low as Rs. 1,649. These include Aqua Lions N1, Aqua A4 and Aqua S3.

You need to pay upfront amount of Rs. 3149, Rs. 3499 and Rs. 5879, for the Aqua Lions N1, Aqua A4 and Aqua S3, respectively and do 36 continuous monthly recharges of Rs. 169, for a minimum of Rs. 6,000 total recharge. The Rs. 169 plan offers unlimited calling and 500GB of 4G data per day for 28 days. If you make the recharges without fail, you will get a cash refund of Rs. 500 after first 18 months, and another Rs. 1,000 cash refund after the completion of 36 months, taking the cash benefit to Rs. 1,500.

In case you don't wish to opt for the Rs. 169 bundled plan, you can do any recharge of any denomination and validity as per your requirement. But to get the Rs. 1500 refund, you should make a minimum recharge of Rs. 3000 within the first 18 months to claim Rs. 500, and another Rs. 3,000 over the next 18 months to claim the second refund of Rs. 1,000.

This brings the effective prices of Aqua Lions N1 to Rs. 1,649, the Aqua A4's price to Rs. 1,999 and Aqua S3's price to Rs. 4,379.

As for the specs sheet, the Intex Aqua Lions N1 comes with 4-inch WVGA (480 x 800 pixels) display, 1.1GHz quad-core MediaTek processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB internal storage, 2MP/0.3MP cameras and 1400mAh battery.

The Intex Aqua A4 features 5-inch WVGA (480 x 800 pixels) display, 1.3GHz quad-core Spreadtrum SC9832A processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB internal storage, 5MP/2MP camera and 1750mAh battery.

Finally the Intex Aqua S3 offers 5-inch HD display, 1.3GHz quad-core Spreadtrum SC9832A processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, 8MP/5MP cameras with dedicated flash and 2450mAh battery.

All phones include dual-SIM slots, microSD card slot and supports FM Radio 4G VoLTE, WiFi and Bluetooth. They run Android Nougat out of the box.
