Airtel revises Rs. 179/199 plan to offer unlimited national roaming calls

Airtel has revised two of its open market combo plans, which offered the same benefits across different circles: Rs. 179 and Rs. 199. The revised Rs. 179 and Rs. 199 pack now offers unlimited national roaming calls  in addition to previous benefits. 

So the Rs. 179 and Rs. 199 plan will now offer unlimited voice calls (Local+STD+Roaming OG (for non-commercial use), 100 SMS per day and 1GB data for 28 days. 

The Rs. 179 plan is available for all customers in the Assam, Bihar, Gujarat, Haryana, Kerala, Kolkata, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Orissa, Punjab, Rajasthan, UP-East, UP-West and West Bengal circle.

The Rs. 199 pack on the other hand is valid across Andhra Pradesh, Chennai, Delhi, Himachal Pradesh, J&K, Karnataka, Mumbai, North East and Tamil Nadu circles.

Do note that, the daily 100 SMS (local+STD) can be used in both home and roaming. Also the voice calls are capped at 250 minutes per day and 1000 minutes per week for the validity period.

In related news, Airtel recently launched Rs. 49 and Rs. 157 data plans for prepaid customers. The Rs. 49 pack offered 1GB 2G/3G/4G data for a day, while the Rs. 157 offered 3GB data for 27 days. These plans are listed under 'Special Offers for You' section in MyAirtel app, and their availability depends on the circle.
