Garmin Vivosport activity tracker with GPS, heart rate monitor lands in India

Garmin is launching its latest Vivosport activity tracker in India. It has been priced at Rs. 15,990 and will be available online exclusively from Amazon India, as well as select offline stores across the country.

The Vivosport is a swim-proof activity tracker that has a 72 x 144 pixel color display that's always on and visible in sunlight.  It features built in heart rate monitor and GPS, and is capable of showing notifications from a paired smartphone.

The fitness tracker can track the users basic fitness activities like, steps taken, distance traveled, calories burned, as well as monitor stress levels. In addition , it also keeps a track on all your activities such as walking, running, strength training, and cardio workouts.

Garmin says the Vivosport activity tracker can run up to seven days in smartwatch mode, and just eight hours in a GPS mode on a single charge.
