Moto Z2 Force now receiving Android Oreo in the U.S and Brazil
Motorola has started the process of rolling out Android Oreo starting with the Moto Z2 Force in the U.S and Brazil. To remind you, the Moto Z2 Force was launched in August this year with Nougat on-board, and is the company's first phone to receive Oreo.
In the U.S the update is being rolled out with build number ODX27.109-24 for the Verizon Wireless version of Moto Z2 Force, while in Brazil the regular variant is picking up Oreo and the build number is OPL27.75. However it is not known when other carrier versions in the U.S, as well as other markets will get the update.
As a reminder, Android Oreo brings new features like Picture-in-Picture (PiP) mode, notification channels, adaptive icons, notification dots, redesigned emojis, smart text selection, Autofill API and more. It also brings a new call screen to the Z2 Force, and includes Android December security patch.
The update is being rolled out over-the-air, and you'll be automatically notified when it is available for your device. You can also do a manual check by going to Settings >> About Phone >> System update to get it.
