Nokia 6 (2018) will reportedly have full screen display
At the beginning of this year on January 8, 2017, HMD Global brought the Nokia brand back to life with the Android powered Nokia 6. It was initially launched in China and at MWC 2017 was announced for the global market.
And now almost a year later, details about its successor has hit the interweb. The Nokia 6's successor was spotted on TENAA recently with the model number TA-1054, and the certification website has posted the phone's render.
As seen in the render, the Nokia 6 (2018) will have a new modern design, that's being followed by most of the smartphone maker this year. This phone will have minimal bezels on the sides, and top and bottom part, indicating a full screen display with 18:9 aspect ratio.
And since the bezels on the lower chin is slimmer, the phone will ditch the capacitive keys and the home button, which houses the fingerprint scanner. Instead, the Nokia 6 (2018) will have on-screen button, while the fingerprint scanner will located located at the back. The rear camera is still a single unit.
As for the specifications, rumors has it that Nokia 6 (2018) will have 6-inch Full HD+ display, Snapdragon 630/660 chip, 3GB or 4GB RAM, 32GB or 64GB storage. And just lke the predecessor, it will ship with stock Android and support dual-SIMs and 4G LTE.
It is not yet known when HMD plans to launch the new Nokia 6 model. But as mentioned earlier the Nokia 6 was unveiled in the first week of January 2017, so we can expect a similar time frame.
