Oppo announces A73, 6-inch display, 4GB RAM, 16MP selfie camera in tow

Today Huawei and vivo, unveiled the Enjoy 7S and Y75 bezel-less smartphone respectively. In addition, Oppo, which accompanies Huawei and vivo in the global top five smartphone maker list has also announced a phone with similar design.

Dubbed Oppo A73, it sports a bezel-less design with minimal bezels on side, and comes with a large 6-inch screen with Full HD+ resolution (2160 x 1080 pixels) that boasts 18:9 aspect ratio. It flaunts all-body metal unibody design with rear mounted fingerprint scanner.

The A73 runs Android 7.1.1 Nougat based ColorOS 3.2 and is equipped with 2.5GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P23 processor, 4GB RAM, 3200mAh battery and 32GB internal storage, which can be expanded via microSD card.

For photography, there's 13MP f/2.2 rear camera with an LED flash and 16MP f/2.0 front facing camera. In terms of connectivity, the A73 offers support for dual-SIMs, 4G VoLTE, WiFi and Bluetooth.

The Oppo A73 has been priced at CNY 1699 (Rs. 16,500 | $257) and is now available for purchase in China in Champagne and Black hues.
