Price drop: Xiaomi Mi A1 gets Rs. 1000 permanent price cut, now available for Rs. 13,999
The Xiaomi Mi A1 is currently one of the best smartphone under Rs. 15,000 boasting stock Android and dual-camera setup. It made its debut in India in September this year for Rs. 14,999 as a Flipkart exclusive, and recently was selling for Rs. 12,999 for limited period during Flipkart's Big Shopping days sale (December 7-9).
However, now Xiaomi has announced a permanent price cut of Rs. 1,000 on the Mi A1. With the price cut into effect, the Xiaomi Mi A1 will be up for grabs at Rs. 13,999.
At the new reduced price the Mi A1 will be available via Mi.com, Flipkart, physical Mi Home stores, and other offline mobile stores.
To recollect, the Mi A1 is Xiaomi's first Android One device running stock Android instead of MIUI. The phone has been receiving regular security updates till date, and will soon get Android Oreo as well. It currently runs Android Nougat of the box, and apart from Oreo, Xiaomi also promised update to Android P.
In terms of specifications, the Mi A1 has 5.5-inch Full HD display, Snapdragon 625 processor, 4GB RAM, 64GB internal storage, hybrid dual-SIM slots, 4G VoLTE, USB Type-C, fingerprint scanner and 3080mAh battery.
It comes with dual-camera setup at the rear consisting of two 12MP sensor, one with wide angle lens, and the other with telephoto lens. Both work together to deliver portrait shots. For selfie you're getting 5MP shooter on the front.
