The Zanco tiny t1 is the world's smallest phone
Smartphones are getting bigger in size, but there are few companies who are heading to the opposite directions. Earlier this year we came across Jelly phone, which was claimed to be the world's smallest smartphone that can fit your pocket easily.
And now we have another contender which is being claimed as the world's smallest phone. Meet Zanco tiny t1, and the company touts it to be smaller than your thumb. However, unlike Jelly, which was an Android powered 4G touchscreen smartphone, the Zanco tiny t1 belongs to the feature phone category.
The Zanco tiny t1 has a 0.49-inch OLED display and fully functional t9 alphanumeric keypad. It supports only 2G network (GSM850/900, DCS1800, and PCS1900), so you will be able to only call and send SMS. Sadly it does not have internet capability.
The handset is compatible with nano-SIM card, and can store up to 300 contacts in the phonebooks, as well as 50 most recent calls and 50 text messages.
As for the core specs, the tiny T1 features MediaTek 6261D processor, 32GB RAM and 32MB internal storage. There's no microSD card support. The handset charges via USB port and weighs just 13g. It has a very small 200mAh battery that last for more than three days on a single charge.
To get your hands on the Zanco tiny t1, you can pledge a minimum of $ 50 (Rs. 3,000) on Kickstarter. The handset ships anywhere in the world, and Zanco plans to deliver all order in May 2018.
