Moto G5S Plus Gets Permanent Price Cut In India
Motorola has announced a permanent price cut of Rs 1000 for the Moto G5S Plus. The G5S and G5S Plus were launched in August. The former was priced at Rs 13,999 and the latter at Rs 15,999. It's worth noting here that the price cut is only applicable to the G5S Plus and not it's younger sibling. This means that the G5S is now priced at Rs 13,999 and the G5S Plus also costs Rs 14,999.
It's not hard to make out that the price cut of G5S Plus is to make the phone a more compelling choice over Xiaomi's Mi A1. Motorola's cutting the price of the G5S Plus comes after Xiaomi permanently discounted the Mi A1 by Rs 1000 in November. The Mi A1 now sells for Rs 13,999 while the G5S Plus is available for thousand more rupees.
The Moto G5S Plus sports a 5.5-inch Full HD display, octa-core Snapdragon 625, 4GB RAM, 64GB internal storage with support for microSD, dual 13MP camera setup on the back and a 8MP selfie shooter with flash. The device is powered by Android 7.1.1 Nougat and is fuelled by a 3000mAh battery. The G5S Plus can be purchased either online from Amazon or MotoHub stores across the country.
