[Update: Nokia 2] Nokia 3 & Nokia 8 Are Being Updated With February Security Patch

HMD Global may not be very popular among custom ROM enthusiasts, but when it comes to delivering monthly security updates on a timely basis, HMD is a champ. The Finnish company is now rolling out the February security patch to the Nokia 3 and Nokia 8.

The update size for the Nokia 3 is 80MB, while that for the Nokia 8 is 87MB.

According to NokiaPowerUser, the February security patch is currently hitting the Nokia 3 units in India, and Nokia 8 units in Jordan and India. The update should soon start rolling out in other regions too.

If you own either the Nokia 3 or Nokia 8, we advise you to wait for the update patiently. Since OTA updates are rolled out in batches, it might take for the update to be available for your handset.

Nokia 2 is receiving the February security patch too. The update size is 89.3MB.
