Essential Phone Can Now Be Bought Unlocked From Canada, France, Germany, Japan & UK

The Essential Phone (also referred to as the PH-1) went up for purchase in August 2017. At that time, the phone was sold unlocked in the United States and also in association with carrier Sprint. Other than the US, the PH-1 was available in Canada, but only through Telus. Essential has now announced on Twitter that it will be accepting orders from Canada, France, Japan, and the UK. 

Essential has asked customers from the aforementioned countries to read its terms of service thoroughly, since "special terms and conditions apply to these orders." It's worth pointing out here that Essential's tweet didn't mention availability in Germany, but the country is listed in the company's terms of service and can also be selected while checking out.

The items which can currently be bought from the Essential Store include the company's $US499 Phone, $US199 360-degree camera module, $US99 Type-C earphones, $39 fast charger, and $15 polymer case.
