Xiaomi Mi A1 Is Being Updated With April Security Patch

As a part of the Android One program, the Mi A1 gets security updates every month. Google released the April security patch earlier this month and now Xiaomi is rolling it out to the Mi A1.

The update screen mentions security improvements, bug fixes, performance optimization and stability enhancements. The update size is 262.6MB and it carries the build number OPR1.170623.026.V.9.5.10.0.ODHMIFA.

OTA updates roll out in phases, meaning that the update is extended to a limited audience on the first day and a broader audience on each following day. This update is rolling out via OTA, and hence it could take time for the update to show up on your phone. If you would like to update right away, you can manually pull the update by going to Settings > System > System update > Check for update.
