Android P Beta Program Goes Live For Pixel Devices, DP2 Rolling Out Now
The first developer preview of Android P was released in March, and now after two months, Google has released the second developer preview for the Pixel smartphones. If you have any of the Pixel, Pixel XL, Pixel 2 or Pixel 2 XL running the stock ROM, you can enroll your device in the Android Beta program to test out Android P.

Once your phone is registered in the beta program, you will get an update to the developer preview. If you had registered for the beta program at the time of Oreo, then your registration won't be carried over and you will have to enroll your device again.
The first developer preview wasn't available through the Android Beta program. Users instead had to flash DP1 manually over to their smartphones. As was stated at the time of the release of DP1, the users of the first developer preview won't get an OTA update to DP2. If you are using DP1, you can update to DP2 by flashing the system images linked in the source. It's worth noting here that all the data on your Pixel smartphone will be deleted when you flash a system image.
