OnePlus Sold A Million OnePlus 6 In Just 22 Days

It all started for OnePlus with the OnePlus One in 2014. Over the course of its lifetime, OnePlus sold a million units of the One. Four years later, OnePlus has sold the same number of its latest flagship in a matter of 22 days.

As can be seen in the graph above, each subsequent OnePlus flagship has performed better than the previous one. Each of the OP5 and OP5T hit the one million sales mark within three months of their launch, and the OP6 achieved the same feat in one-fourth the time. This, of course, makes the OP6 the fastest selling OnePlus phone ever.

OnePlus didn't provide a country wise breakdown of the sales, but did note that the sales in North America went up by 139% last year. Commenting on the feat, OnePlus CEO and founder Pete Lau said:

As always, our community has surpassed our expectations and we have them to thank for the overwhelming success of the OnePlus 6. We are touched by the trust that 1 million people have placed in us and are grateful for the loyalty they have displayed.
