dotOS v2.4 Released With New Android P Style Features, More Customizations & Fixes

dotOS has made a name for itself by bringing design elements from the upcoming Android P to Oreo. The last release of the ROM added the quick settings panel of Android P, and with v2.4, which was released a few hours ago, the dotOS team have added the transitions and vertical volume dialog box from Android P.

There are a couple of other design changes. The OTA manager, 'About phone' and 'About us' sections have been redesigned and the system dialogs are now rounded. In the power menu, there is a new ripple animation when an item is selected and there is a new screen off animation too. Additionally, v2.4 of dotOS has a 'Neo Black' theme and analog style clocks for the lock screen.

The Moto G5 Plus, the Moto G5S Plus and the OnePlus 3 have been dropped from official support. Meanwhile, the Redmi Note 3, the Redmi Note 5 Pro, the Sony Xperia ZL, the Lenovo Vibe K5/K5 Plus, the Google Pixel XL and the Lenovo Zuk Z1 have been added to the roster.
