Moto E5 Plus Lauching On July 10 In India, Will Be Amazon Exclusive

Motorola released the G6 series in India just a while back, and now the company is all set to launch the E-series in the country. At the launch of the G- and E-series smartphones in Brazil, Motorola launched three phones under the E-series: E5 Play, E5 and E5 Plus. The E5 Play is only meant for countries in North America. We expected Motorola to launch the E5 and E5 Plus in India. There is no hint of the E5 launching in the country right now. For the time being, Motorola will be releasing the Moto E5 Plus on July 10. The smartphone will be an Amazon Exclusive.

The E-series came into existence in order to compete for the low budget category with a good spec sheet and this time around it looks like Motorola might succeed in the case. The device is offering good specs, here's the list -

• Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor
• 2/16GB  - RAM/ROM
• 3/32GB  - RAM/ROM
• SD Card Slot with upto 256GB support
• Dual Sim
• 13/5MP - Back/Front camera
• Rear mounted fingerprint reader
• Fast Charging supported
• 5000mAh of Battery
• Android Oreo 8.0 out of the box

Like always, the device will come with near to stock android and having such huge battery might make the phone a bit heavy, but given the history of the Motorola devices, it won't be much heavy and instead will give you a great battery backup. The phone will be available in two colors to match your style, Fine Gold  and Black.

The specs are good enough for a budget device, but the processor is one of the things that might be problematic for the company as Xiaomi's phones are offering better processors at around the same price point, let's see how it goes. 

The price of the device isn't known yet, but it is safe to say that it will be priced around Rs 10,000. The E4 Plus is sold in India for Rs 9,999. Motorola has a habit of surprising with the price points, so wait till July 10 and we will get back to you then when everything is made OFFICIAL.
