OxygenOS 5.1.9 Rolling Out To OnePlus 6 With July Security Patch, Improvements To Image Quality & More

The OnePlus 6 has received a slew of updates since its launch in May. OnePlus' flagship is now receiving a new update with the July security patch, support for VoLTE for Telia users in Finland, stability improvements for WiFi connections and fixes for Bluetooth. There are a couple of new features in the camera application. OxygenOS 5.1.9 adds beauty mode to selfies, Google Lens and improves the image quality.

As is the case with all OTA updates, this one too is rolling out in batches. This means that the update will reach a small number of users today, and others will get it in the coming days. The users who will get the update today will be randomly picked by a computer. If you aren't willing to wait, you can try checking for the update manually from Settings > System updates. If that doesn't work, you can try installing TurboVPN and set the region to Canada. 

The flashable files for the update aren't available yet, however, if you are interested in sideloading the update, you can download the update file from Oxygen Updater. We will update this post when OnePlus posts the download file on its portal.
