[Download] POCO Launcher Is Now Live At Google Play Store
There has been a lot of hype around Xiaomi's POCO F1 and we have already covered it plenty of times in our recent articles about its launch, specifications, highlights and kernel source code. Looks like the POCO saga isn't going anywhere soon as POCO goodies are here now.
Xiaomi, at the launch event of the F1, showcased a dedicated launcher for the device dubbed POCO Launcher which is meant to provide a stock cum custom experience to the users of the device. At the very first look, the launcher looks similar to the Pixel Launcher. You can swipe up from the dock to access the app drawer, and swipe right from the first home screen to access the Google feed. It's worth noting here that the stock launcher in other MIUI devices lacks both an app drawer and swipe to access Google feed gesture.
The launcher has support for icon packs and is packed with some smooth animations to use. Apps are nicely categorized into various predefined categories. This makes it quicker and much easier to find the apps. For those of you concerned about privacy, there is an option to hide apps from the app drawer.
The launcher is now live at the Google Play Store. A lot of users were seemingly interested in trying out the launcher, and as a result, the registrations for the beta enrollment are already full. But, not to worry, APKMirror is to the rescue. If you want to try out the launcher right now, you can download it here.
It's worth noting that the app is currently under Early Access/Beta program and might have some bugs. So, try it out if you can handle a minimal amount of bugs, although reports coming in state that the launcher is stable enough for daily use.
