OxygenOS Open Beta 3 Released For OnePlus 6 With New Way To Launch Assistant, Support For More Apps In Parallel Apps & More
OnePlus usually releases two beta updates in a month, but recently, the company has been pushing out one beta build after another. The first Android 9 based OxygenOS Open Beta for the OnePlus 6 was released at the beginning of the month. A week later, the second beta was published, and now we have another beta release.
OxygenOS Open Beta 3 brings support for Discord, IMO, OLA, Telegram and Uber in Parallel Apps. You will now be able to use multiple accounts of these mentioned apps by cloning them using Parallel Apps. With this beta release, OnePlus has added a new method to trigger Google Assistant. When full screen gestures are being used, the user will be able to launch Assistant by a short press of the power button. A longer press will open the power menu. Also, there are new features in OnePlus Switch, and stability improvements.

Known Issues:
• Some applications may not function as expected when running on this beta version
• Google Pay service is not working
If you are using a previous Open Beta, you will be getting an update to this build. In case you are coming from another ROM, you will have to manually flash the build file, the instructions for which (and the download link of the build) can be found here.
