[Android Pie Train] : Nokia 6.1 & 6.1 Plus Get Stable Update, Moto X4 Is Undergoing Beta Testing

The updates for Android Pie are now on a roll and are being seeded to the latest devices by the OEMs. Some previously promised models are getting the sweetness of Pie too. We have got news for the Pie update for the Nokia 6.1, the Nokia 6.1 Plus, and the Moto X4.

Nokia is now updating its two major devices, 6.1 and 6.1 Plus. Juho Sarvikas, the CPO of HMD Global announced on Twitter that the Nokia 6.1 Plus is now receiving the much awaited Android Pie update. Just before this announcement, Nokia took over Twitter to announce the update for the 6.1. The owners of the Nokia 6.1 would be happy enough to get that sweet Pie notification. The tweets included a short video demonstrating the new features that the devices will get with the update.

Next up, we have good news for the Moto X4 users. Motorola is gearing up to release Android Pie update for the device in the coming months. The update is being tested by the company with a small set of users under the closed beta fashion and will roll out once the company is satisfied with the reports of the testing.

It is fair to recognize that the Moto X4 was one of the few devices to get updated to Android Oreo quickly last year. Keeping up with the pace, it seems like Motorola wants the device to be updated to Pie quickly as well. As we have covered up before, we believe the rollout will take place in December.
