OnePlus posts first Pie based Open Betas for OnePlus 5/5T
The OnePlus 5/5T users have been waiting patiently for their Pie update. The wait is not over but you can get a taste of Pie on your OnePlus 5/5T by trying out the Android 9 based OxygenOS Open Beta builds that OnePlus has just released.
The changelog for Open Beta 22 for the OnePlus 5 and Open Beta 20 for the OnePlus 5T is given below.

The software experience should be similar to what you would get on a OnePlus 6/6T running Pie. The latest OxygenOS betas are currently rolling out via OTA to existing beta users. If your OP5/5T is already running a beta, you will be receiving an update soon. Other users will have to install the update manually by following the directions given here.
