iQOO Confirms Launch Date of Neo9s Pro+, Reveals Key Specs

The iQOO Neo9s Pro+ is set to launch on July 11, as revealed by the brand manager on their Weibo page. The phone will retain the same design as its predecessor, the Neo9s Pro, but with a new blue leather back and several upgrades.

One of the most notable upgrades is the chipset, which will be a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, an improvement from the Dimensity 9300+ in the Neo9s Pro. Additionally, the device will feature a larger battery with a 5,500 mAh capacity and 120W charging.

The senior executive explained the importance of the iQOO Neo9s Pro+ for the company, linking it to the NBA and vivo partnership. They revealed that sales of the Neo series increased 77% YoY, making the next logical step the introduction of this Plus version as an evolution of the smartphone industry.

The phone will feature two 50 MP cameras on the back – a main and ultra-wide shooter. The company opted for this solution instead of a three-cam design, which will be complemented by OriginOS 4.0 and in-house AI features.

The smartphone will maintain its thin profile despite the increased battery – the glass variant will be 7.99 mm thin, while the leather option, which is the hero color, is likely to be 8.3 mm, just like its predecessor.

The phone will be unveiled at the Universal Beijing Resort, where even "Megatron will be amazed at this powerful piece of technology," according to the manager.
