OnePlus 13 to Improve Water Resistance

The latest rumor suggests that the upcoming OnePlus 13 will feature improved water resistance, with an IP68 and IP69 rating for dust and water resistance. This is a significant upgrade from the OnePlus 12, which has an IP65 rating.

The IP code indicates that the device is protected against water jets, with the second digit (8) indicating that the phone can be immersed in 1 to 3m of water for more than 30 minutes. The 9 rating adds protection from powerful high-temperature water jets, making the OnePlus 13 very water resistant.

Regarding dust, the device will be classified as "dust-tight", not allowing any ingress of dust whatsoever.

Other rumored features of the OnePlus 13 include a micro-curved screen, a battery with a capacity of around 6,000 mAh, and an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor.
